110 years is a remarkable milestone, especially if you have a history behind you studded with great successes, personal experiences, encounters, professional skills and inspiration. A history that has been rewritten every day since 1912, the year Renzo Frau founded his brand in Turin: Poltrona Frau. A brand that over the years has based its success on the quality of its materials, taking the experience and culture of the leather world all over the world.

With the “True Evolution” collection, Poltrona Frau is celebrating its 110 years of authentic evolution that began with its cultural and manufacturing heritage, passing through the design present, and arriving at the research and creation of sustainable products. The claim reads “100+10 Years of True Evolution” and pays tribute to the brand’s consistent and sincere evolution, which is based on its heritage, design capacity and strong will to put sustainability at the center, considering it a lever strategy for development.

The last ten years – for Poltrona Frau – have been lived in the name of constant research aimed at the production of more than 200 tailor-made furniture products with models suitable for both indoors and outdoors: an important growth to demonstrate in a the change in positioning of a brand that goes from being a furniture company to a creator of lifestyles is clear.

The new “True Evolution” collection collects the essence of 110 years of Poltrona Frau and introduces some important innovations such as “Nice” and “Homey”, a table armchair and a table designed by GamFratesi, characterized by organic and sculptural shapes and the compact and extremely comfortable sofa Happy Jack, designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba. The innovations are accompanied by the reinterpretation of some past projects through new functions: products such as Archibald, Ren, Lloyd and Montera are reworked in a new interpretative key.
The new collection represents Poltrona Frau’s desire to offer an increasingly broad and integrated range of products, capable of adapting to the different environments of the home, welcoming the aspirations of contemporary living and the new demands of living, such as flexibility, versatility of environments and reduction of the environmental impact of products.
