01. The concept.

In Mompiano, on the outskirts of the city of Brescia, in a residential complex where nature has taken over, creating an oasis of wellbeing within everyone’s reach, we have worked as consultants to help infuse the home with a friendly feeling of warmth.
The choice of furniture makes the room comfortable and allows the essence of the wood, made of grains and knots, to be highlighted and create an elegant, essential atmosphere.

02. Colours and Materials

An earthy palette and the prevalence of natural materials characterise warm, comfortable ambiences. The knotty parquet floor relates perfectly to furnishings like the black oak table with Shara Noir turntable and the hand-burnished brass chandeliers with mouth-blown crystal balls.

The concrete-effect staircase is matched by the lightness of the glass banisters that give breadth and brightness to the dining area with double-height ceilings.

Warm colours and a relaxed atmosphere are the keywords linking all the spaces in the home designed for a family to relax in.

Distractions aside, there was no real rhyme or reason to my workflow. The not-so-fun (but necessary) stuff kept getting neglected.

03. The spaces

On the ground floor of the two-storey house is the living area, where the Let It Be sofa in leather by Poltrona Frau with its soft colour sets off the floor-standing teal-coloured TV cabinet by B&B Italia.

The heart of the home is the dining area overlooking the garden, where a round black oak table is front and centre. This is combined with stone-coloured leather armchairs. Three brass and crystal pendant lamps illuminate the room. Completing the space is Pandora, a numbered edition madia entirely covered in gold leaf and handcrafted, an exclusive design piece that adds a touch of unparalleled elegance and uniqueness to the room.

The kitchen with central island is separated from the living room by a glass door with a metal grid, allowing light and conversation to flow freely between the spaces.

On the upper floor, the gallery divides the small bedroom with en-suite bathroom from the master suite. The master bedroom houses the Mr Moonlight bed by Poltrona Frau and the precious accessories from the Fidelio collection. Three steps inside the bedroom lead to the private bathroom where the grey stone cladding and veined stoneware furniture dominate.
